-ABOUT-

Dani Johns Comedy 2022 FC2.jpg

"A smart, clever pocket rocket of a comedian who delivers a set full of quick fire gags coupled with a sassy delivery that captivates every audience member."

Crazy Bird Comedy

"Instantly likeable with strong gags to back it up. Dani is one of the South West's most promising rising stars."

Kerfuffle Comedy

"A sweet bouncy stage presence, but don't let the kookiness fool you. Some searing one liners and salacious stories about modern millenial relationships. The audience loved her."

After Mirth Comedy

Quick witted, brutally honest and full of Bristolian charm, Dani Johns is a rising star on the comedy circuit.

With an energetic mix of storytelling and serious over sharing, Dani is an instantly likeable act and described as a “pocket rocket of a comedian” whose “sassy delivery captivates every audience member”.

Since starting stand up comedy just a few years ago, Dani has firmly planted herself on the comedy scene and is a regular performer at some of the best comedy clubs in the UK. She’s performed at pubs, clubs, festivals, charity events, corporates and 1 particularly memorable patch of grass known as “Turbo Island”, but that’s another story…

Off stage, Dani has written for The Guardian and a variety of local publishers. She’s also appeared in multiple film and TV projects, including Casualty, Skins and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Dani is also a keen voiceover artist and has provided VO for various comedy and corporate clients.

Ever proud of her Bristolian credentials, Dani has been named as “one of Bristol’s most influential women” and on “The Bristol Cool List” alongside fellow comedians Jayde Adams and Stephen Merchant.  She's also an alumni of "Best in Class", a scheme which aims to show off the best working class comedic talent.

This year Dani will perform her first solo show "CRINGE" at the Edinburgh Fringe.
