Dani Johns is a comedian, compere and all-round funny human.

 

She spends most of her time on stage, gigging across the country and entertaining audiences from all walks of life. With an energetic mix of storytelling and serious oversharing, Dani is an instantly likeable act and a naturally engaging presence. Described as a “pocket rocket of a comedian”, her sassy delivery pulls audiences in as she finds the funny in life’s chaos – with just the right amount of cheek.

 

When she’s not on stage, Dani can often be found doing some other form of silliness on screen. She has acting, voiceover and presenting credits under her belt, and a knack for bringing warmth and humour to any brief.

 

She’s also increasingly in demand in the corporate world, where her enthusiasm and wit liven up conferences, awards nights and events of all kinds (even the dry ones).

 

Alongside her performance work, Dani is Co-Director of Best in Class, an initiative that supports and champions working-class comedians and helps create space for new voices in comedy.

 

Proudly Bristolian, Dani has been named one of the city’s most influential women, appearing on The Bristol Cool List and being recognised as one of Bristol’s top 20 rebellious women. She’s currently developing a history project (working title Ark At She) in collaboration with Arts Council England and Bristol Museum, researching and celebrating the lives of working-class women in Bristol’s history.
